These schemes allow directors to invest in assets other than Insurance
Company Pension Funds. You can invest in stocks and shares, unit trusts
and even, in some circumstances, buy shares in your own Company. The
Plan can also be used to help you to purchase business premises, from
which to operate and this is often a far more tax-efficient way of
buying commercial property than either buying it in the Company's name
or in the directors' names. Again, the rules surrounding
Self-Administered Schemes of this type are complicated and you do need
clear professional advice and expertise. Please feel free to
contact us
if Small Self-Administered Schemes are of interest to you.
